This section is intended to be a collection of useful information about techniques and methods of sample preparation, especially for confocal scanning. It is not intended to be specific for a particular confocal system and should be of general relevance to fluorescence microscopy. This information is basically a collection of information and techniques developed and gathered by others. Credit will be attempted to be given, but much of this information is well beyond third hand and apologizes are offered in advance where credit has been omitted.
