0.4.2  Electrical Safety

The LeicaTCS-NT confocal system runs off 220 Volts AC.  For your safety and reliable operation of the confocal system please do not re-arrange the system or attempt to make electrical repairs.  Even though we are a physiology department we do not want to perform defibrillation's or observe the effects of tetanic stimulation.

Please remember your equipment will not last long at 220 volts and the confocal equipment will not operate properly at 110 volts.

The LeicaTCS-NT system meets the stringent European CE standard for electrical safety.
