Basic Confocal Operation - XZ-Scanning

• Start Confocal System
• Press "Mode" button - select xy
• Find sample and set up scanning parameters
• Settings -> preferences --- set activate box at Y-Selection
• Press Panel Box
• Drag horizontal line over part of image of interest.
• Select xz mode
• Start scanning

Panel Box control that normally default to z/y selection now changes y position of scan

It takes a bit of thinking at first to translate xy to xz coordinates and understand what the z/y position control does.
